The winds industry came together - awes 2011
The 10th Austrian Wind Energy Symposium took place from the 18th to 19th of October 2011 in St. Pölten.
As co-organisers, we naturally used this opportunity to exchange news about actual und future wind energy themes with international speakers and visitors of the symposium. Particularly noticeable was the optimistic attitude of participants towards the future development of wind energy. More information on the symposium can be found here.
Asymposium focusing on wind energy, with international speakers and exhibitors, has taken place every two years since 1992. The themes discussed about during the symposium should increase sustainability and the development of renewable energy sources in Austria and its neighbouring countries. The symposium contributes to supporting teamwork and information exchange between the different participating groups and partner countries. A special focus is on strengthening contacts to CEE countries, also in relation to entering into new export markets.
