EWS launches public participation for agri-PV plant in Upper Austria
In the Innviertel municipality of Pischelsdorf am Engelbach, the “EWS Sonnenfeld Pischelsdorf” agri-photovoltaic plant is being built by EWS and Energie AG, an energy project for the future that efficiently combines innovative power generation and agricultural use.
For its part of the plant with around 2.2 MWp, EWS offers the possibility of citizen participation with an attractive interest rate of 4.3% per year and a term of 5 years. You can invest and benefit from as little as € 100 at www.investinggreen.at/pischelsdorf.
Gerhard Steindl, Managing Partner of EWS: “We develop our Sonnenfeld projects holistically - together with municipalities, agriculture and research. Sustainable planning and fair cooperation are the best way to achieve domestic renewable energy production, which makes us independent of expensive fossil fuel imports and at the same time strengthens our business location. We are also particularly keen to offer financial participation. Citizens can thus actively participate in the energy transition and benefit from it.”
Why invest in EWS Sonnenfeld Pischelsdorf?
The agri-photovoltaic system combines sustainable energy generation that conserves soil resources with regional benefits. Between the rows of modules, 80% of the total area is still available for agricultural cultivation. This concept promotes the dual use of good grassland and arable land without significant land consumption, increases biodiversity and sets a strong example for environmentally friendly solar power generation.
- Innovative concept for dual use for solar power generation and agriculture
- Support for regional and ecologically sustainable power generation
- Attractive interest rate of 4.3% per year, with a term of 5 years
- EWS from Munderfing has 30 years of experience and know-how in the field of renewable energies
In this short video (in German) you will see how innovatively EWS Sonnenfeld® combines agriculture with energy production.
