Photo competition "Life in the wind farm"

"Wind turbines are a highly visible symbol of life and progress. They blend aesthetically into our natural and cultural landscapes. We want to make this tangible and visible with the wind power photo competition," explains Stefan Moidl, Managing Director of IG Windkraft.

But that's not all: work goes on at the wind farm - from the construction of the wind farm and servicing of the turbines to farming, hunting and woodwork. Various animal and plant species are at home in wind farms. Wind farms also serve as recreational areas and invite people to go hiking, walking, running, cycling and more.

Anyone can take part and submit photos in seven categories under the motto "Life in the wind farm" for the chance to win great prizes.
