30 years of EWS

Every kWh counts! EWS has been focussing on renewable energy for 30 years.

Having started out as a wind power pioneer in the 1990s, EWS Consulting GmbH is now on a solid base with 74 employees. In addition to project management from the initial idea to realisation and operation on behalf of our customers, we now also develop and implement large-scale wind energy and (agri-) photovoltaic projects. Our many years of expertise, a highly qualified team and the aspiration to offer the highest standards in all project phases make us a reliable climate protection partner and a successful company.

Gerhard Steindl:"We can only make a difference as an economically successful company. This is only possible with a great deal of commitment, consistency and perseverance. As an owner-managed company, we share profits with our employees and invest in the company for good and safe working conditions, for new products and for cost-effective renewable energy."

Always looking to the future, we offer modern, innovative solutions to increase energy efficiency and advance the energy transition. We have completed renewable energy projects totalling more than 3 billion euros in project volume for our customers. In other words, around 6.5 % of the electricity generated in Austria bears our signature. And we want more! Above all, we want to make a rapid and consistent contribution to achieving Austria's climate targets by treating nature and people with respect.

Joachim Payr:"Every project that is realised with our help is a success for all of us. Socially equitable environmental protection is our credo. It is important to us to live by it. That's why we pay attention to the environment and nature when travelling, shopping, eating and much more. We have firmly anchored this as a guiding principle in the company and written it down in our sustainability report."
