EWS - an attractive employer with a high feel-good factor

EWS received the seal of approval for workplace health promotion (WHP) for the third time in a row.

After all, our aim is to seriously and purposefully implement measures for workplace health promotion in order to ensure a high feel-good factor and the best possible cooperation in the workplace. This has a positive effect on our daily work and the working atmosphere and makes the EWS an attractive and successful employer in the future-oriented renewable energy sector. The BGF seal of approval is a national award for the implementation and permanent development of workplace health promotion in the regular operations of companies. The objectives are a high well-being factor of the employees and, associated with this, a low sick leave rate.

In December 2022, almost 400 companies from Austria received the award for excellent health projects that are carried out by the companies out of full conviction, without any legal obligation.

The award of the BGF seal of approval 2023 - 2025 for the EWS was justified, among other things, for the following measures:

• flexible part-time models and working hours for part-time employees (flexi-time, home office), which also contribute to the compatibility of part-time and career
• the possibility of educational or parental leave as well as family leave for fathers
• regular joint activities and incentives to motivate employees to exercise, such as an 8,000-step challenge and the annual wind farm run
• free lunch, a free fruit basket and a healthy diet
